When thinking about physical ed, the smell of blue gym mats instantly comes to mind. Now they become wearable design items. Gym mats in school gyms were a lot: smelly, greasy, skin grazing. Something they surely weren't: fashionable. But now the scrapped blue dampers make a big appearance - and they're not alone. Zirkeltraining™ leads leather-upholstered bucks and boxes to fashionable success as well.

A modular trade show concept corresponding to the urban legend was developed which instantly reminds of "No street shoes in the gym".  At numerous trade shows such as in Tokyo, Munich, Vienna, Copenhagen,… gym floor boards and markings have been laid, as well as scrapped gym/sports equipment deployed.

Bags made from recycled sports equipment leather and gym mats are manufactured exclusively by one person: the godfather of gymnastics - Bernd Dörr. The brand "Zirkeltraining™" was taken in October 2007 from gyms and presented at trade shows in Germany and Japan. Every piece is handmade and individual, extremely tough, carries sweat-inducing and educational memories and is not only appealing to athletic hotshots(jocks).
