Sennheiser IE Packaging

Sennheiser’s IE range represents a milestone in the development of ear canal headphones. The unique technology used in the three models is also reflected in the design and use of material for the line-up. Our innovative concept creates a look more reminiscent of a gift box than conventional packaging. The boxes feature a black interior blister for the attachment of accessories and are made of injection-moulded solid ABS. The lid consists of several layers of cardboard, is printed in several different stages and lavishly finished with blind embossing, UV varnish and magnets, before receiving the final die-cut. In order to ensure optimal product visibility a theft-proof PET film is located under the flap, the inside of which describes the product features. Only once the PET strip has been slit open can the product be removed.
